Things You'll Need:
- Small eye shadow brush
- Light eye shadow shades
-
Step 1
Use an eye shadow brush that is small enough for the tight space under the brow. Underbrow brushes should have tips that are rounded in the middle for a more exact application of eye shadow.
-
Step 2
Apply a lighter color directly under the eyebrows. This is used to emphasize the other colors that you will apply and to highlight the shape of the eyebrows. Begin the application by dipping the tip of the brush into the appropriate color. Place the brush in the center of the underbrow and use long strokes outward. Some people extend their eye shadow past the outer edge of the eyebrow to make it look more dramatic. If that's not your goal, the shadow should stop at the edge of the eyebrow.
-
Step 3
Fill in the inner corner of the underbrow with the same long strokes of the eyebrow brush. The outer edges of eye makeup are generally made darker than the inner edges.
-
Step 4
Blend the color along the underside of your eyebrow to make it appear more natural. Eye shadow can be blended with the eye shadow brush, or it can be blended with the tips of your fingers.
