Schools, particularly universities, were among the first organizations to establish websites. Now, everyone can be informed about a school via the Internet. Check scheduled events, curriculum information, faculty contact, and a host of other necessary communications online. It's easy to access your school's website--here are several ways to go about it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
As a general rule schools use the following URL suffixes: .edu for colleges and universities, .org for independent schools and (county/city or district name), .k12.(state).us.gov for public primary and secondary schools.
Step2
Visit an educational or school association website for specific requests for information or a list. Use the association's online searchable database to find the school's information including a website link.
Step3
Type the school's name, city and state into the search engine. Click on the correct website address or enter it into the Internet browser's URL space. Get close matches from the browser's search engine for failed attempts.
Step4
Contact the school district's office by phone and obtain the correct Web address. Call the school directly, if you're unable to reach someone at the district office.
