Enjoying a cool glass of juice on a hot summer day is one of life's simple pleasures. But ice cubes quickly melt and dilute the flavor of your juice. Here are some simple strategies to keep your juice cool without diluting the taste.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pour juice into ice cube trays a few hours before you plan to serve or drink it. Add berries to the ice cube trays for a fun look, or use shaped ice cube trays. Freeze.

  2. Step 2

Serve the juice in glasses with the frozen juice ice cubes. As the ice cubes melt, they will mix in with the rest of the juice without diluting it.

  3. Step 3

Buy reusable ice cubes. These small balls are thin plastic shells filled with water. Put them in the freezer until the water freezes, and then add to your drink. They still keep the juice cool, but the water stays inside the plastic as it melts. The best part is you can use them again and again.

  4. Step 4

Cool the juice in other ways such as putting it in the refrigerator or cooler prior to serving it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Juice ice cubes are also an easy way to add unique flavors to other beverages, such as iced tea and cocktails.
  • Do not use reusable ice cubes when serving juice to children. They are choking hazards.
