How to Kill the Last Boss in Fatal Frame 2

The last boss, also known as Kusabi, is difficult to kill in Fatal Frame 2. This boss can kill you with only his touch, so be careful and move quickly while fighting the ghost. After a few tries you should recognize his pattern of movements, making it easier to kill him the next time.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

1. Run towards to center of the room and switch to "Finder" view. Be prepared for the boss to attack you.
2. Take a "Zero Shot" when the boss attacks. There will be a shutter moment that allows you to take this shot. After each shot, the boss will teleport.
3. Keep shooting the ghost as it lunges towards you. After three missed lunges and teleports you can take your final shot.
4. Use your blast lens and zero lens against this ghost. These are your strongest types of lenses and will be the most powerful when fighting him.
5. Go down he steps and pick up the final letter. This is your last opportunity to take a shot of Mayu.

Tips & Warnings

• As the boss moves in to attack, take a step back right before he strikes. It may look like he'll hit you, but he'll miss. This will help you to avoid getting killed and get him to lunge and miss three times.
