If you are bored with playing 9 ball pool all night, add a little challenge. Do a 9 ball pool trick that's sure to get attention. Make it even more interesting by asking a few skeptics to bet against your success.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 6 balls
  • Cue ball
  • Pool stick
  • Wooden triangle rack
  1. Step 1

Line any 5 balls up right in front of a side pocket so they're all in line to go straight in one at a time.

  2. Step 2

Put the 9 ball right in front of the opposite side pocket. Bet your friends that you can put all 6 balls in with one shot.

  3. Step 3

Set a wooden triangle rack up with one end snug tight against the last ball in the line of 5.

  4. Step 4

Place the cue ball a few inches from the opposite, straight side of the triangle. Hit the cue ball towards the middle of the wood rack. Employ a medium to hard hit with the cue stick.

  5. Step 5

Watch the rack knock the 5 balls in, and the cue ball bounce back to knock in the 9 ball.

Tips & Warnings
  • Practice the trick with 2 to 5 balls in the line to get used to the feel of the trick. Add more balls as you get better.
  • Keep the cue ball pretty close to the rack. If it's too far away, it might not hit directly in the middle.
