Step 1
Measure under your arms and around your body to find your width and around your bust to find your cup size.
-
Step 2
Find styles that use less material and have a cut part-way down the bust so that the cup doesn't cover the entire area. Balcony bras or demi-cups enhance the bust and don't flatten like fuller, traditional styles. Corset-style lingerie is also flattering for small busts.
-
Step 3
Go for delicate styles that use light material, such as lace or netting. Light styles will complement your bust and not dwarf it like bolder, fuller bras. Find options with thinner straps and clasps to match the cups.
-
Step 4
Try on all lingerie before you buy it. Each manufacturer may cut its apparently differently, so you can't always assume that the same size fit from one brand to another. The same applies to styles. What looks good on the hanger may not suit your body type.
-
Step 5
Match your lingerie to your clothes. Even your favorite bra won't go with everything. Choose push-up enhancers for plunging necklines and understated lace for high collars. Don't wear ruffled or bunched material under smooth tops, as you will be able to see the uneven texture underneath.
