Creating a website is a productive way to publicize you or your enterprise. Getting your website indexed by Google can help to build traffic to your site. That spells more contacts, more customers and more attention.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check your website to make sure it is ready. There should be no broken links and you should have relevant content on every page.

  2. Step 2

Create keywords in your content so your site becomes optimized. Keywords help enormously with the traffic of your site. Make sure they are specific and not broad.

  3. Step 3

Add your URL through Google's page. There is also a section to add a comment or keywords related to your site. It may take a few days or a few weeks to get Google to index your site.

  4. Step 4

Write an article based on your site and submit it to article directories. This may work faster than going through Google to index your site. If someone links to your site, Google is likely to index it faster.

  5. Step 5

Search for your indexed site by going to Google's homepage and typing your URL in the search box. If your site shows up, then it's picked up by Google. If it doesn't show, try again later.
