Jumping off of a ski ramp "helicopter style" requires you to twist into a full jump while crossing your skis to imitate the look of whirling helicopter blades. You'll need a good jump, strong balance and enough flexibility to cross and uncross your skis in time to land the jump.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Crouch slightly with your knees bent as you approach the top of the ramp. Leave the top of the ramp with a pop.
Step2
Turn your head in the direction you want to rotate, crossing your skis to create an "X" formation at the same time.
Step3
Look for your landing as soon as you've rotated enough.
Step4
Uncross your skis and land the jump, bending your knees to absorb the shock. Practice this trick to perfect it.
