How to Grow Bushier Eyebrows

If you are an over-tweezed disaster and find yourself longing to look like Brook Shields in the 1980s, you need to grow thicker eyebrows. Sure, it doesn't sound like much of task, but it does take time and requires that you change your routine.

1. Purge your "pluckers" and throw out your tweezers and hot wax. The only way to make your eyebrows bushy is to leave them alone. It may be tempting to tweeze the old unibrow as it begins to fill in but resist the urge. Thick brows are low maintenance wonders.

2. Invest in an eyebrow comb and fluff up your brows. This won't make your eyebrows longer, but if you comb your eyebrows upward, they look thicker. If you want them really bushy, add hair gel.

3. Take your vitamins so your body hair grows faster. Prenatal vitamins work well, but a daily multi-vitamin also works. You'll not only feel healthier, your eyebrows will be bushier and your mane longer.

4. Eat foods high in sulphur. Sulphur minerals promote hair growth, especially if you are deficient in them. Eat eggs, onions, meats and beans.

5. Give your hair follicles a boost with some topical 5-percent Rogaine Extra Strength. Use a cotton swab to apply the medicine to your brow. Try this for over-plucked, bare areas that need some extra help. If all goes well, you'll have thicker brows in a few months.
