On occasion, people find themselves with something they need to gripe about. It could be a product or service that didn't live up to its commitment. On the other hand, perhaps a friend, family member or a spouse ruined your mood. Whatever the reason, it can help to gripe about the problem and get it off your chest. Keep reading to find out how to gripe online.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Consider what you need to gripe about. This can drastically change your plan of action. Griping at the wrong place online might not do you much good.
Step2
Be careful if you are griping about a company or person. To avoid accusations of slander, use generic terms. For example, if your phone company has made you upset, refer to them as your "phone company," and leave their name out of the conversation.
Step3
Look for other people that have the same problem you do. Use a search engine to find blogs, forums and bulletin boards that people are using to talk about the particular subject. For example, a tired, stressed mother can find a friendly person who understands what they are going through at forums for parents.
Step4
Complain to authorities if you are having an issue with a company or service that you need resolved. For example, if the business is a member of the Better Business Bureau, you can let them know what is going on. On the other hand, you might get some help by sending the company itself an email.
Step5
Remain anonymous if it makes you feel more comfortable and it's appropriate for the situation. You can register with a forum or other website using a screen name that doesn't give any hints toward your real name.
Step6
Try to be as respectful as possible at all times. Name-calling a company or anyone else might not be appropriate, although it might seem to be at the time. In addition, if other people offer advice that doesn't work for you, thank them anyway.
