When first coming in to your sexuality, you may not know if you are a hetero or a homosexual. There's no clear-cut definition of what determines if you're gay or straight. You have to search deep within yourself and consider what arouses you. Either way, you are a person that deserves respect with the right to be happy. Follow these steps to know if you are a hetero.

1. Learn what it means to be "straight." To some people, being straight is having a sexual relationship with the opposite sex or fantasizing about it. Others may believe that you are born straight or gay.
2. Consider your fantasies. If you fantasize about members of the opposite sex you may be a hetero. It isn't proof that you're straight, but it is a possible sign.
3. Have sexual relations with a member of the opposite sex. See if you're comfortable with it and if you enjoy the experience. This doesn't necessarily mean you are a hetero, but it's a good possibility.
4. Imagine having sexual relations with a person of the opposite sex and the same sex. Consider what turns you on or what you find attractive. It may be that both sexes turn you on.
