Step 1
Understand what weapons can be dual wielded. Pick up the SMG or submarine gun, the plasma riffle or PR, the PP or plasma pistol, the M or magnum and the N or needler when you want to ravage your opponents with a dual wield.

Step 2
Place one dual wield weapon in the player's hands.

Step 3
Find a second dual wield weapon or select one from the inventory or backpack. Press and hold the "Y" button. Both weapons now appear in the player's hands.

Step 4
Know what dual weapons to wield with other weapons. These combinations work well: the PR and M, the PP and M, the PP and SMG, the PR and SMG, and the SMG and M. The combinations that are good but not outstanding are: the PR and PR, the PR and PP, the PP and N, the M and M, and the SMG and SMG.

Step 5
Stay away from dual wielding combinations that do not work well. Try to avoid these pairings: the PR and N, the PP and PP, the N and SMG, and the N and M.
