Pull medium length black hair into a ponytail that sticks out away from the head. You may want to buy a black wig and tuck your natural hair under the wig. Temporary hair dye stays in your hair for a week, while permanent dye lasts 2 weeks before it starts fading.

Have brown eyes or wear brown contact lenses and pluck your eyebrows into very thin lines. If you have light eyebrows, darken them with a brown or black eyebrow pencil.

Pierce your ears and put small hoop earrings in. You may want to buy clip earrings instead of piercing your ears.

Wear a black mesh shirt. You may want to wear a flesh colored shirt underneath the mesh. Girls can wrap an ace bandage around their chest to flatten breasts.

Roll a pair of black pants up to the shin or buy a pair of Capri pants. Hip pockets and belt loops add to the detail of the outfit, but aren't essential.

Find a pair of high top blue sneakers or blue ankle-high boots and cut the toes out. You can wear blue sandals, but Nara Shikamaru looks like he wears blue walking casts on his feet. You want your toes to be exposed while your foot and ankle get covered by the shoe.
