How to Dress Like Debbie Harry

Debbie Harry, of Blondie fame, is an icon. She is blond, flashy, feisty and fabulous. You don't have to have a heart of glass to be like Blondie, but you can dress like Debbie Harry if you just take some time to pick out the right colors and styles to flesh out her look.

1. Get a gold jacket. In 2001, she was photographed in a black dress and gold jacket. It can be any shape or size, but to truly dress like Debbie Harry, it should be a bit baggy and have a lapel.

2. Wear bright colors. In 2003, at the Grammys, Debbie Harry sported a hot pink top with a mini dress. Bright reds and blues are also good colors to wear to dress like Debbie Harry.

3. Mix fabrics. As an icon, Debbie Harry has her own style. She is often seen in slinky, textured leopard prints and slinky or shiny covers. You can also pair jeans with a fitted T-shirt or clingy polyester plaid top.

4. Cover up with a black hooded cape. In the cold winter months, you can continue to dress like Debbie Harry with this cape and keep the chills at bay.

5. Buy slinky mini dresses in black or animal prints. Along with her signature suicide blond locks, Debbie Harry is seen in minis of various dark or flashy prints.

6. Pair different lengths in red. A signature Debbie Harry look is a mini skirt or dress and a long jacket in the same color. The color has been photographed as bright red, but it can also be done in black.
