1
Start with her prominently-drawn forehead. It is wide and takes up almost half of the face. The top of the forehead is squared.
-
2
Draw the eyes widely set and large. Anime characters often have eyes that are larger than is realistic, and Sakura is one of them. Draw very thin eyebrows on top.

3
Make the chin pointed, joining the sides of the face like a rounded "V". The mouth is very small and close to the chin. Unless she is showing a lot of emotion in the picture, the mouth can simply be a small line with a dot under it to represent the bottom point of the lips. The full outline of the lips is not drawn.

4
Create the nose as a very small curved shape sloping down from one eye, depending on which way she is turned. One nostril should be drawn in. The nostril included should be the one opposite from the eye that begins the curve of the nose.

5
Begin the hair at the top of the forehead. The hair is parted in the middle and falls to the sides of the face with spiky ends. The longest part of the hair extends to the lowest part of the neck.
