How to Draw Kakashi
Kakashi is a popular young Japanese anime character with special abilities and a complicated family history. Unlike many anime characters, his face varies very little with his mood. This is because much of his face is aways covered by a mask. The mask makes Kakashi much easier to draw than many other anime characters.

1
Draw the eyes. The eyes themselves will be half circles with a line on top to represent the top eyelid. The eyebrows are full and extend past the eye at the inner corners. There is some light shading under the eyes to add depth.
-
2
Create the headband directly above the eyes. The headband has a spiral leaf symbol on the front that is drawn inside a rectangular plate.

3
Fill in the ears at the sides. The ears have a lot of detail, including all of the folds of the ears that would realistically be present.

4
Start on the lower part of the face. The entire face below the eyes is covered by a mask. To make this, simply draw in the outline of the face. It is shaped like a "V" with a rounded end for the chin. If you are putting in a lot of detail, you can shade the nose area to make it look as if a nose is under the mask.

5
Make the hair large and spiky. The hair is roughly the same length as the head. Most of Kakashi's hair is one large mass. It comes up into many sharp spikes at the ends. It isn't necessary to draw in individual hairs.
