How to Draw a Puppy
A puppy is one of the easiest animals to draw. It can be made using basic circles and squares. When learning how to draw it is easiest to start with geometric shapes to make your sketch. Follow these steps to learn how to draw a puppy.

Sketch a circle for the head of the puppy. Draw a larger circle beneath the head for the body. They should overlap slightly.

Erase the line where the bottom circle overlaps the top of the head of the puppy. Underneath the torso draw a straight line to signify the ground where the puppy is sitting.

Draw a nose and mouth for the puppy by making an upside-down triangle with a fishhook underneath it. Draw two eyes by making upside down "Us" with a line underneath it. Use thick black dots for pupils.

Create ears on the sides of the head. The ears can be any fashion you desire such as long and floppy or short and pointy. Draw a tongue hanging from the mouth of the puppy.

Make one circle each on the top sides of the torso for the paws. Draw one semicircle each at the bottom sides of the torso for the back paws. Add the puppy's tail.

Add detail to your drawing such as stripes, spots or facial markings. Fill in the background with scenery.

Color the drawing of the puppy. Be creative with realistic colors or use colors you would only see in a cartoon.
