How to Draw a Poodle
Even those who consider themselves artistically challenged can draw a poodle. Basically the only skills you need to have is the ability to hold a pencil and enough talent to scribble some curly lines and circles. And you, of course, need to have a general idea of what a poodle looks like.

1
Draw two circle doodles about half an inch apart. The circles need to be made out of squiggly lines so that it looks like your poodle has hair.
-
2
Add a squiggly circle about a quarter inch above one of the circles. This circle should be about an eighth of the size of the bigger one. This will be the tail.

3
Sketch another squiggly circle about a half inch above the second of your two original circles. This will be the head, so this circle should be larger than the tail. Draw another wiggly circle doodle to the head to create the poodle's snout.
-
4
Attach the head to the chest and the tail to the rump with two wiggly lines on each. Connect the two original circles with two wiggly lines to create the torso. Draw two legs at the bottom of the first of the original circles and another two legs at the bottom of the second of the original circles. Wiggly lines work best for these as well because they create the appearance of hair.

5
Draw a dark circle on the head for an eye. Add another dark circle to the end of the snout for a nose. Create a poof at the top of the head and draw a hanging ear from the head. Fill in the original two circles with little c-like shapes to create more hair and a sense that the picture is three dimensional.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't like the way a line or shape looks, feel free to erase it. When you draw a poodle, no line is ever set in stone.
