Step 1
Draw a body on cardstock using a stencil or by drawing freehand. Use a pencil so the lines can be erased when you finish cutting out your paper doll.
-
Step 2
Glue the cardstock paper to a piece of cardboard for stability purposes. This will allow your doll to stand upright.
-
Step 3
Trim out your paper doll with a pair of sharp scissors. Don't cut areas too thinly because they will tear when you are playing them.
-
Step 4
Cut strips of cardboard 3 inches wide and 1 inch tall. Fold the strips in half. Cut half-inch slits in the bottom of the paper doll and insert the strips into the slits of the paper doll.
-
Step 5
Create clothes for the paper doll. Place a piece of paper on top of the doll and draw the clothes. Cut the clothes out making sure to leave tabs extending out to attach them to the paper doll.
-
Step 6
Color the clothes and paper doll. Sketch facial features on the paper doll and use colored pencils or markers for more definition.
