How to Draw a Fake Wound
A fake wound can be the crowning feature of a gory drawing or disguise. Draw fake wounds on your skin for Halloween or for a practical joke. Practice drawing wounds, whether it be on paper or skin. Use supplies that you already have on hand or purchase a few that are inexpensive.

1
Choose an area of the body that is exposed and free from any interference from clothing. Choose a large part of the body for a gaping wound or a smaller area for a thin slash mark.
-
2
Use a water-based blue pen to draw the outline of the wound. Draw small sections of the wound at a time. Smudge the blue line into the skin while the pen mark is still moist. Blend the edges of the wound with your finger.

3
Trace a red line next to the blue line. Work in sections with the red pen. Use your fingers to blend the red into the blue while it is still moist.
-
4
Draw lines on the inside of the wound with both the red and blue markers. Smudge the lines together so that the inside of the wound looks like raw flesh.
-
5
Make various lines on the outside of the wound to represent scratch marks. Keep the lines close to the border of the wound. Blend the red lines with a clean fingertip.
-
6
Remove the pen from your skin with soap, water and a wash cloth. Scrub the pen marks gently until they are completely removed.
