How to Draw a Cartoon Chicken With MS Paint

You can easily draw a cartoon chicken using Microsoft Paint. All you need is the computer program and a little time for trial and error. If you don't have time for experimenting with your cartoon, follow these instructions and you can draw a cartoon chicken using MS Paint.

1. Draw the basic outline of your cartoon chicken. Select the circle-shape tool. Draw one large oval in the middle of your screen. This will be the body of your chicken. Draw a small circle slightly above the oval. This will be the head of your cartoon.

2. Connect the head to the body using either a straight line, curved line or free-form drawing MS Paint tool.

3. Use the straight line tool to draw in the chickens legs. Select a thick line, and draw each leg. Use the free-form draw tool to make the chicken's toes.

4. Continue using the free-form draw tool to add draw the tail feathers. When drawing a rooster, make long, arching feathers. A hen or a chick can have a small, upward-pointing tuft.

5. Add a beak and eyes using the free-form tool in MS Paint. The eyes might be as simple as a dot or so complicated that they will have pupils and eye lashes. For the beak, a simple triangle will make your chicken look like a cartoon.

6. Clean up your drawing. Use the eraser tool to get rid of any liens you don't want on your cartoon chicken. Use the free-form select tool, shaped like a star in MS Paint, to adjust lines.
