How to Eat at the Ballpark

Spending a day at the ballpark is enjoyable. Half the fun is eating all the junk food that they offer. Be prepared to spend your hard-earned money though, because it isn't cheap. Watch your children carefully because they tend to overeat at the ballpark. Decide on the food you want and pig out--just don't get sick.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Locate a refreshment stand. Although this is easy to do, you need to find the one that caters to your particular craving. There are hot dog stands, fried chicken, steak sandwiches, hamburgers, funnel cake, pizza, tacos and numerous others. Decide on the food you want to eat and proceed to that stand.
Step2
Buy your food. Take note of your surroundings. You may want something different the next time you get hungry. If you have a large party, you may need to buy your food at more than one stand.
Step3
Decide on a drink. A soft drink or juice is best for your children, but you can choose beer, coffee, tea, a soft drink, juice or hot chocolate.
Step4
Find your seats and enjoy the game along with your meal. Try to remember you are there for the ballgame and the food is a bonus.
Step5
Get a snack. After a couple of innings, remember to get your peanuts, cracker jacks, popcorn, a pretzel or other snack.
Step6
Eat healthy if you have to and you can, because ballparks offer a variety of healthy foods now too. You can get salads, chicken breasts and even low-fat hot dogs.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't worry about that diet today--eating at a ballpark is supposed to be fun.
  • If you don't feel like leaving your seats, you can get something to eat from one of the vendors who sells food in the stands.
