How to Bunker an Opponent in Paintball

Bunkering your opponent is a tactic where you run up on him while he's hidden behind a bunker and shoot him with your paintgun. It isn't an easy tactic to get rid of an opponent, but is often the only way to eliminate a player who is unwilling to move across the field. Bunkering must be done as a part of a team effort to be effective.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Communicate with your teammates in a nonverbal way. Everyone needs to know you're attempting a bunker, but if you broadcast this to the other team, your tactic won't be successful.

  2. Step 2

Determine what exact path you'll take and make sure your teammates are aware of that path so that you aren't eliminated by friendly fire.

  3. Step 3

Have at least one teammate keep the opponent pinned behind his bunker. If possible, have two teammates keep him pinned and at least two others shooting the field to keep you safe as you run.

  4. Step 4

Run up immediately to the bunker, but don't touch it or you'll give away your presence. Slide around the side and shoot immediately. Your chances of success are better if you know what side of the bunker exposes your opponent's back, but shooting immediately is still your best plan to eliminate her before she eliminates you.
