How to Defeat Emperor Bulblax in Pikmin

Emperor Bulblax is a huge grubdog and the final boss in Pikmin. You need to complete the obstacles by day 28 and plan to fight Emperor Bulblax on day 29. If you try to do both in the same day, you die.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• 70 yellow pikmin
• 30 red pikmin
• Bomb rocks

1. Gather an army of at least 70 yellow pikmin and 30 red pikmin. With your army, go to the dome-shaped arena.
2. Walk past without touching Emperor Bulblax with your yellow pikmin. Proceed through the arena, across the sand and through the second wall. Let the yellow pikmin gather the bomb rocks and then take them back to the entrance. Set them to idle by pressing the "X" button.
3. Wake up Emperor Bulblax by bumping into him and then go get your yellow pikmin. Throw the yellow pikmin at Emperor Bulblax and let him eat the bombs. When the bombs explode, Emperor Bulblax collapses and you pelt him in the eyes with red pikmin.
4. Press the "A" button using the C-stick to make the red pikmin swarm around you so you always throw a pikmin when you press "A." Call the red pikmin back when Emperor Bulblax throws them off.
5. Keep your pikmin at the entrance of the arena to avoid jumping attacks. When Emperor Bulblax begins to drool, take a yellow pikmin and toss it toward the mouth. Move around so you see the front of his mouth.
6. Throw red pikmin at Emperor Bulblax after he eats the yellow pikmin. When he collapses, go get a yellow pikmin.
7. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until Emperor Bulblax throws up.
