How to Burn a CD in Ubuntu Linux

Click on "Application" and then "Add/Remove." Ensure that you make all applications visible by clicking on the drop-down menu near the top-right side of the window. Change it to "All Available Applications."

Locate the Search Box. Type in "GnomeBaker." Check the box that is next to GnomeBaker and Click "Apply." This will install the program.

Select "Applications" and then "Sound & Video." Next, click on "GnomeBaker to open this application.

Complete each option that makes sense. You will have a number of options when GnomeBaker utility is opened. To make a Data CD, click Data CD near the bottom. Click "Add the files" and then click "Burn." To make an Audio CD, simply click "Audio CD" instead of "Data CD." Change the audio CD length from 21 minutes to the standard 80 minutes so that you can add a reasonable amount of music to the CD. Add the music and select "Burn."

The GnomeBaker utility is also available as a free CD.
Ubuntu means "humanity toward others" in African language.
Ensure that you don't run any other applications when running GnomeBaker. This is because it might cause buffer under-run.
