Instructions
  1. Step 1

Position yourself in the wrestling stance. In the wrestling stance your knees are bent with your weight evenly distributed. Keep your head up.

  2. Step 2

Begin the penetration step by placing your dominant leg forward. Your dominant leg is the leg that has the most strength and usually coincides with the hand that you use regularly.

  3. Step 3

Touch the knee of your dominant leg to the mat. Your non-dominant leg will remain where it is for now.

  4. Step 4

Swing your non-dominant leg in front of your dominant leg in a quick motion. In an instantaneous movement do a windshield wiper with your dominant leg, which is sill on its knee. The direction of your windshield wiper will depend on the movement you plan on leading into.

  5. Step 5

Lead in to your next move. This should be done quickly as you are now in a vulnerable position and can be countered easily.
