Pokemon means Pocket Monster and was invented in Japan in 1995 by Satoshi Tajiri. Pokemon is owned by Nintendo and the games are designed for the Nintendo 64, Game Boy and Nintendo DS video game systems. 1
Go to a Pokemon Center. There are Pokemon Centers in towns and on some of the routes and there are computers in the Pokemon Center. Approach the computer to deposit or retrieve the Pokemon you want to clone. Be sure that there are at least two empty boxes in the computer storage system.

2
Switch to an empty box. When you have the Pokemon you want to clone in your party, go to the computer storage system and choose to switch to the empty box. When it asks if you want to save, choose yes. Do not turn off the power to the Game Boy.

Put the Pokemon to be cloned in the empty box. Choose to change to another empty box and when it asks if you want to save, pick yes. A message will come up at the bottom of the screen telling you that the game is being saved and to not turn off the power. When the complete message appears, turn off the Game Boy. Turn the Game Boy back on and check to see if the Pokemon is in Bill's PC and your party. If the glitch worked, the Pokemon should be in both places. If it messes up, just release the Pokemon and try again. You may need to practice to get this to work.

Tips & Warnings
To clone items such as rare candy, master ball or nugget, equip the item to the Pokemon before cloning it. When you turn the power back on, the Pokemon in your party and the Pokemon in the PC will both have the item.
Another cloning trick is to make sure you're in front of the PC in the Pokemon Center and you have 6 rare candies. Give all 6 rare candies to the Pokemon to be cloned. Do the cloning trick, being sure you turn off the power and when you turn the power back on, you will have 6 rare candies and the Pokemon in the PC will be a higher level than the Pokemon in your party.
