How to Automate eBay Shipping

EBay is a great place for both shoppers and vendors. After the recipient purchases the product, the vendor ships it to the recipient. Preparing the product for shipping takes time. You can do some things as a vendor to speed up the shipping process. Automated shipping saves you time and gets the orders to your customers faster.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Set up automated shipping for eBay in your home or office. Designate a section or room to keep all wrapping supplies such as tape, scissors and boxes.
Step2
Pick a certain time of day to perform shipping tasks. Prepare all orders, even if it is only one, at that same time every day.
Step3
Choose a shipper to work with. Both UPS and United States Postal Service allow you to print labels directly from their Internet sites. Between these two, you should be able to provide adequate shipping solutions to your customers.
Step4
Designate automated shipping days, such as Tuesday and Thursday. These are slower days at the Post Office and UPS. Make sure you put this information on your eBay website so your customers know when you will ship their products.
Step5
Continue with steps one through four until you are processing enough eBay orders to hire someone to prepare the shipping for you.
