While you don't want to be a phony in order to be accepted by your peers, there are certain things you can do to encourage their acceptance. If may not happen as quick as you'd like. However, it is much better to retain your integrity and nurture your self confidence if you can remain true to your values and still be accepted by the in crowd.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Good form can be practiced by everyone regardless of their economic class. Common courtesy and consideration of others is all that is required of good form. Sometimes, you'll find the people in the privileged classes practice less from than those who must rise above their disadvantages.
Step2
Accept others first and you have a better chance of being accepted. You don't have to like people to accept them. And if their behavior is not acceptable to you, learn to separate the behavior from the person and practice forgiveness. Your self-confidence and self-acceptance will show through any barriers to class.
Step3
Be positive and walk with your head held high. No matter what your economic or social class is compared to others, your integrity will get you accepted into more circles than any amount of money ever will. People like to be around others who are happy and positive and don't dwell on the negative.
Step4
Choose your friends for their form and principles rather than their social class. While you may gain acceptance from a group that you think is a higher class than you, it may not be worth the effort to make them your best friends.
