How to Add Scrolling Credits With Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder

Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder is a simple to use program that allows you to create a slideshow composed of videos and pictures for a DVD. A great way to end the slideshow is by adding scrolling credits. Keep reading to find out how to add this unique feature to your next DVD slideshow.

Things You'll Need:

  • Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder
  1. Step 1

    Start Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder, and open an existing project or create a new project and add at least one component to it, such as a photo or video.

  2. Step 2

    Click the "Add Text" button on the menu below the storyboard to open the "Caption Edit" window. Type the text you would like to appear as a scrolling credit in the text box at the top of the right side of the "Caption Edit" window.

  3. Step 3

    Choose the font, font size, style and text color using the drop down lists and buttons under the "Font" section of the "Caption Edit" window to change the look of your text. As you make these changes, they will be displayed in the preview window on the left side of the window.

  4. Step 4

    Under the "Effect" section of the "Caption Edit" window, choose "Entrance" for the "Action," "Fly In" for the "Type" and "90" for the "Direction." Set the "Duration" for whatever you prefer.

  5. Step 5

    Choose "Emphasis" as the "Action," "Color Wave" as the "Type" and keep the "Duration" set to the same number you set in the entrance action.

  6. Step 6

    Select "Exit" as the "Action," "Jalouise Out" as the "Type," "90" as the "Direction" and the same number you chose before for the "Duration."

  7. Step 7

    Click the "Play" button underneath the preview in the "Caption Edit" window to preview the scrolling credits. Press the "OK" button to close the window and return to your Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder project.
