How to Use Excel's SINH Function
Most people primarily use Microsoft Excel for business computations and basic mathematical functions. Excel however is a much more diverse application in that a user can compile complex trigonometry calculations. One such trigonometry function is the SINH function.

Open Microsoft Excel. Click on the "Start" button on the main operating system menu. Then choose "Programs" from the start menu. Next, select "Microsoft Office" on the program menu. Finally, click on "Microsoft Excel" in the Microsoft Office menu to open Microsoft Excel.

Choose the particular cell or cell range in Excel that you would like the formula result to appear.

Click on the "Insert Function" button on the Microsoft Excel formula from the main window of Excel.

Locate the "Sinh" function on the formula function list. A user can search by function category or just simply type in the word "Sinh" and click "Go."

Select the "Sinh" function and a dialog box appears. Enter any real number into the dialogue box or reference the cell that contains the number.

Review the results the sihn function returns. This is the approximation of a cumulative probability function, or more simply returns the hyperbolic sine of a number.
