The drifter poker chip trick is done by using backspin to send a single chip rolling around a stack of chips and back again to the hand that released it. The drifter poker chip trick must be learned through steady practice to master the backspin.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Place a stack of chips in front of you.

  2. Step 2

    Hold the single poker chip in your hand between your thumb and index finger.

  3. Step 3

    Slam the chip down on it's rim using as much back spin as possible. The backspin will propel the chip around the stack of chips and back again.

Tips & Warnings
  • Practice this poker chip trick while you watch TV or listen to music, and be patient with yourself. Learning to apply the backspin is the most challenging part of this trick and there isn't a secret to mastering it. You just need to practice it over and over until you can do it in your sleep.
