Instructions

    • 1

Make a small filter from either pre-made coffee filters or toilet paper. Use scissors to cut small circles that will fit in a 2 1/2-inch diameter strainer.

    • 2

Set your strainer inside your coffee cup.

    • 3

Place your filter inside of your strainer, making sure it lines the entire area. Put approximately 1 tsp. of coffee grounds directly onto the coffee filter. Adjust the amount depending on the size of your coffee cup and the desired strength of your coffee.

    • 4

Boil 8 oz. of water and pour it slowly through the strainer. Adjust the amount depending on the size of your coffee cup.

    • 5

Let the coffee steep for about 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your desired strength. Add creamer and sugar for flavor and your single cup of coffee is ready.

Tips & Warnings

  • You may have to experiment at little with the amount of coffee you use and how long you let it steep to get it to the strength you prefer.

  • Use a larger strainer if your coffee cup is bigger than a regular sized 8 oz. coffee cup.

  • Don't attempt to make the coffee without the tiny coffee filters, unless you want to drink coffee grounds.
