Step 1
Subscribe to a fantasy football email newsletter. Often fantasy football league sites will offer an email resource for new information on players and injuries for each week of the season. Some sites charge a fee for this service, while most of the information provided in these newsletters is available on the Internet. The newsletter is more of time saver for those that have no time to search individual Internet sites.
-
Step 2
Check each football team's Internet site for the most up-to-date information on a player's performance or injury status. Football is a contact sport and injury news is important to each fantasy owner because starting an injured played will almost certainly result in a loss.
-
Step 3
Listen and watch the specific fantasy football reports that are a part of most sports programming during the football. These shows will have general recommendations for fantasy football owners.
-
Step 4
Visit Internet sites specifically dedicated to fantasy football. Most of these sites have relevant information on which players should have a good or bad week during the football season. (See the Resources section for more information.)
-
Step 5
Ask friends that are not playing in your fantasy football league but are fans of the sport. While most players are ethical, some in your league may purposely give false information to damage your team in the league. Often people you know have advice that can lead to a win during a given week.
