Skydiving on its own is a great thrill and does involve skill. Instructions are needed before you even think about getting on the plane to jump. Once you know how, you can add some fun to your skydiving by doing a pose while falling. Here's how to do some seated poses while skydiving.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Place your arms out to your sides to appear like a "T." This helps to slow your body down and give you more time to move into a seated pose. Hold your palms flat to move even slower through the air.

  2. Step 2

Bend at the waist and put your legs out at a 90-degree angle. Your feet should be flat and in front of you with your thighs parallel to the ground. This is the standard seated pose.

  3. Step 3

Lift one leg to bend at the knee and have the toes of your bent leg's foot beside your straight knee. Keep your body at a 90-degree angle. This is the stag v-seat pose.

  4. Step 4

Straighten the bent leg so that both legs are out to the front again. Place your hands behind your head and slightly lean your body back to create the lounge seat position.

  5. Step 5

Cross your legs into an Indian style seated pose and place your arms back out to your sides. End the series of posing by going to the position needed to pull your parachute cord and land safely.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you master the basics of skydiving before trying these poses. These steps assume that you already know how to properly dive.
  • This is only a sampling of poses and gives one example of the order you could do the moves in. Experiment with other styles to find what works best for you.
