Instructions
  1. Step 1

Practice in a skydiving tank before you set out and do the real thing. Many skydiving companies train their students in skydiving tanks that provide you with the same sensation as being in the air.

  2. Step 2

Practice doing the freestyle move where you lay face down looking at the ground. Keep face down and see how you feel within the skydiving simulator.

  3. Step 3

Make sure your harness is secure when you are doing your freestyle moves. You need it to stay at the right point on your legs to secure you as you do your freestyle moves.

  4. Step 4

Make sure you know how to control your disoriented feeling if you lose control. Skydivers have to keep control when then begin to lose balance while skydiving.

  5. Step 5

Try doing a back loop. Start by lying on your back and then turning your head and body backwards. Even if you only make it halfway, it is considered a freestyle move.

Tips & Warnings
  • Take freestyle diving very seriously. After all, you will be doing the jump on your own and not with the aid of another professional skydiver.
