Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Go to the website of the British Open and check for the tournament's venue and time. The website also describes the course and lays out a map so you may check out how you might want to view the tournament.
Step2
Decide how you want to see the tournament. Most of the greens and tees have handicap access as well as all the grandstands. As long as you have the capacity to move around the course, you will be able to access these viewing areas.
Step3
Check out the hospitality options. If you do not want to trudge around the course or run the risk of being caught in a typical British Open deluge, for a fee, you can gain access to balcony and garden areas, closed circuit television, parking and gourmet food.
Step4
Call the ticket office at the Royal and Ancient (the body running the Open) to discuss all options and the specific disability accommodations for the upcoming tournament.
Step5
Buy your tickets and hospitality membership either online or via phone at the ticket office.
Step6
But your tickets at least 3 months in advance of the tournament. It is always a very popular event.
