How to Get Unlimited Ammo in Crysis

Cheat codes, inserted into video games by their creators, are very popular and help players advance to new levels in the games they are playing. These codes help players achieve levels which they may not normally be capable, as well as adding new dimension and excitement to the gaming experience. Such cheat codes are available in the popular game Crysis, including a code for receiving unlimited ammunition.

Instructions

1. Access the Crysis program files from your desktop to find the installation folder. This can be done by choosing "My Computer" from your Start button, and clicking on the drive your game is saved on.

2. Find and open the file within the installation folder that ends with the word "config." For example, the string might look like "C:\program files\electronic arts\crytek\crysis\game\config."

3. Locate the following four titles in the newly opened file 1) diff_easy.cfg, 2) diff_normal.cfg, 3) diff_hard.cfg, and 4) diff_bauer.cfg. The word after the underscore states the name of the level: easy, normal, hard or bauer.

4. Open the one that matches the level that you will be playing in using a word application, such as Notepad or Wordpad.

5. Add the line "i_unlimitedammo = 1" to the end of the correct file string and then save it.

6. Load a new game and your code will take affect, arming you with unlimited ammunition and allowing you to excel in your gaming adventure. This will get you through some of the more difficult levels where ammunition is in short supply, and make your quest more exciting and rewarding.

• Remember to make a back up file before you write over your game files. Failure to do so could permanently modify your game settings or cause it not to work.
