Two great entertainers, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, were also devoted golfers. The celebrity tournaments they began decades ago continue to be played every year. Bob Hope's tournament still bears his name. The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Ball is one of the highlights of that tournament. It is attended by a long and varied list of entertainers and business personalities. It also features talent of the highest level, and, as expected, closes with a "thanks for the memories."

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Check out the website of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Golf Tournament to get an idea of what the tournament is like. Check the list of celebrities who will be playing in it.
Step2
Find out the times if the tournament. It is usually held late in January.
Step3
Go to the website that describes the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Ball. It lists the time and place for the ball, its cost, and who will be entertaining.
Step4
Call (760) 346-8184 to see if you can get on the list for an invitation. Call early--at least 3 months in advance.
Step5
Be sure to have a reason for the committee running the ball to offer an invitation. These are not an easy acquisition. Volunteering to work, making contact with someone on the committee, or making a donation to one of the tournament's charities are the most common way of gaining an invitation.
Step6
Research the organization named Desert Classic Charities to see where you may want to volunteer instead of the tournament itself. These charities are sponsored by the tournament. It's quite possible that you could do something of service and also get an invitation to ball.
