How to Use Yoono With Firefox

Yoono is a Web 2.0 utility that slots into your Mozilla Firefox web browser. Yoono gathers data about many thousands of users and what kind of websites they look at and then gives you intelligent website recommendations based on sites you're looking at, making the web easier to navigate and more fun.

Instructions

    • 1

Download Mozilla Firefox for free if you don't have it by going to the Firefox homepage. Then go to Yoono.com and click the "download" icon on the site's homepage to begin the download. Follow the site's instructions and choose options relevant to you.

    • 2

Open your Firefox web browser and head to a website that you're interested in or that you know is useful to you. Click the Yoono icon at the top left side of the Firefox browser to open up a frame on the left that gives you a list of sites recommended to you. Look further down to the "Yoo'sers" list to see what people who are searching for similar things have found to be useful.

    • 3

Use Yoono's "Buzz-it" feature to collect items such as text, videos and images from different web pages you visit. Simply highlight text and images that you want to collect and click the "Buzz" button on your browser. Name your "Buzz" and then add videos that Yoono recommends to you so you have a sort of mini-website of your own that features content you chose.

    • 4

Share your "Buzz" with the Yoono community by saving and clicking the "Share" option. You can choose whether you want to share your selected content with all Yoono users or just with people you accept as friends in the Yoono user community.
