Instant messaging is here to stay and you can use Yahoo!, AOL, MSN, Gtalk and more. Instead of all of these separate applications, why not choose one application and have them all. Ebuddy is that one application. Login to Ebuddy and send instant messages to any one of your contacts.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Point your web browser to Ebuddy (see Resource section for link).

  2. Step 2

Download of the Ebuddy application is not necessary to login to Ebuddy.

  3. Step 3

Choose which instant message application you want to use. Click on this application from the list provided.

  4. Step 4

Fill in the form that appears with your user name and password for the instant message application you want to use. For example, fill in your Yahoo! user name and password if you want to login in using Yahoo!.

  5. Step 5

Click on the "Sign In" button located at the bottom right-hand side of the form to login. You logged into Ebuddy in the instant message application you chose.

Tips & Warnings
  • Since you do not have to download Ebuddy this means there is no program to download and no download waiting time. Most applications require download of their program. This positive feature sets Ebuddy apart from the others.
  • Ebuddy does not support every instant message application but it does support the major ones. Check on the Ebuddy home page (see link in resource section) to see if your instant message program is supported.
