Ten-Ball pool is a game of pool played with 10 instead of 8 balls numbered in order. You must initially hit the balls in order and you win the game when you pocket the 10.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pool Table
  • 2 Players or 2 teams
  • Billiard balls numbered 1 to 10
  • Cue ball
  1. Step 1

Rack the balls as tightly as possible in the shape of a triangle. The 1 ball should be at the top of the triangle and 10 ball in the very middle. The other balls do not need to be in any particular order.

  2. Step 2

Place the cue ball behind the head string on the table and shoot the break.

  3. Step 3

Cause the cue ball to come in contact with the lowest-numbered ball on the table first.

  4. Step 4

Get a foul if you break specific rules of the game including causing the cue ball to jump off the table. You also get a foul if you cause the cue ball to come in contact with any other ball first other than the lowest-numbered ball on the table.

  5. Step 5

End your turn if a foul is called or you have caused the cue ball to fall into a pocket (scratching). Continue your turn as long as you are knocking balls into the pockets.

  6. Step 6

Lose the game if you have earned 3 consecutive fouls.

  7. Step 7

Win the game when you legally pocket the 10 ball or if your opponent has earned 3 consecutive fouls.

Tips & Warnings
  • The 10 ball must be the last ball on the table to pocket it legally.
  • The rules in this game can vary depending upon the players.
