Local businesses that attend hockey games as a group for promotional purposes are often offered discount ticket prices for purchasing them in large quantities as a package. Use your credentials, especially if you're a student. Most NHL teams offer student discounts to local students with valid student identification and some have "Student Nights" where a certain number of students can get in for just a few dollars.
