When the day is over and the night rolls in, and the moon is filled with sleepiness, If I don't eat a bowl full of bread pudding with raisins, I feel that tug of weepiness.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 4 slices of lightly buttered bread
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cup of raisins
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
Step1
preheat oven 350o
butter your baking dish (2 qt baking dish preferred)
place bread cubes in baking dish
in a mixing bowl beat together milk, eggs, sugar and salt
pour mixture over bread cubes
gently mix in raisins and vanilla extract
place dish in larger pan of hot water
bake for 40 minutes or until center becomes firm

To Plate
Serves at least 4 better served when warm

Can be served hot with vanilla ice cream or cool with a nice cup of coffee ............... Enjoy....................
here is a picture of a great cup of coffee (strong blend preferred)
with the ice cream add, imagine your side plate of warm bread pudding beside it.

Tips & Warnings

  • if you want to increase the portion amount do not double the egg amount. two eggs will be fine for any amount.
  • when eating this desert hot please use caution

on 3/12/2008 This was the best desert I had in a long time. Like can't wait to get out of these shoes good or glad ive finally passed all of my classes good. And the best one, you sure your name isn't Bob good.
