My asthma has been bothering me for years. I finally had enough and did allot of research and talked with countless doctors on how to not depend so much on my inhaler. I changed my eating habits and my mind set and know have little problems.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Healthy eating choices.

Step1
Cut the fat out: Eating to much saturated fat and excessive calories with little or no nutritional value has been linked to asthma and wheezing. Switching to low fat, high nutritional food may reduce your risk of breathing problems.
Step2
Eat food high in omega-3: Healthy foods such as ark green leafy vegetables, salmon, tunas and flaxseed oil all have high levels of omega-3. Omega-3 fatty acids are known to help with inflammation which is great for conditions such as asthma.
Step3
An apple a day really does keep the doctor away. It said that the antioxidants fond in apple are great ways to protects your lungs from tissue damage.
Step4
Don't forget your daily dose of coffee: Caffeine found in coffee is similar to the commonly prescribed asthma drug theophyline. Which suggests that caffeine can help expand you air passages and keep your respiratory muscles strong.
