  1. Step 1

    Visit the PA Dutch Convention and Visitor's Bureau at 501 Greenfield Rd. at Rt. 30, Lancaster, PA 17601.

  2. Step 2

    Go shopping at both sets of outlets, Rockvale Square and Tanger Outlets, which are right down the street from each other.

  3. Step 3

    Have dinner at Shady Maple Smorgasbord. It's a must. They have almost 50 homemade side dishes, tasty desserts, and grills with freshly prepared foods.

  4. Step 4

    Crafters should visit the Flower and Craft Warehouse. It's a mecca for scrap booking supplies, yarn, party goods, household decorations, and more.

  5. Step 5

    Take the kids to Dutch Wonderland Amusement park.

  6. Step 6

    Spend the weekend on an operating farm to get a taste of what farm life is like. Wake up to the crow of the rooster, just in time to milk the cows.

  7. Step 7

    Stop by Kitchen Kettle Village known for their quaint shops of homemade items including delicious jams, jellies, and dressings.

  8. Step 8

    Take a horse and buggy ride through the scenic views of Amish country.

  9. Step 9

    Stop at local mom-and-pop stores for country decorations, and homemade baked goods.

  10. Step 10

    Take a ride on the Strasburg Railroad and let the kids have fun in the train shop.

  11. Step 11

    Take in a biblical play at the Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre, an enormous theater with professional, larger-than-life productions about biblical stories.
