We all hate teacher's pets. But teacher's pets think they have the best position in the world. Quite honestly, the position of teacher's pet will get you far. If you're currently in school and looking for a way to get ahead, read on.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A desire to get ahead
  • A decent reputation

Step1
Act excited about learning. Even if you're not, just fake it. Teacher's love nothing more than a student's thirst for knowledge. Ask lots of questions and make lots of comments concerning the subject being taught.
Step2
Perform well. You might be able to act excited about learning, but if you don't have the performance to back it up, most teachers aren't going to take notice. If you do well and love learning, the teachers will adore
you.
Step3
Remind the teacher about things. Whether it's where you left off reading in your literature books, or what problem set was due that day in math class, reminding the teacher won't score you any points with your fellow students, but the teacher will certainly appreciate it. Plus it will just highlight your enthusiasm once again.
Step4
Volunteer for projects. Volunteer for anything that might help a teacher out. Remember to always be the first to volunteer. Teacher's love that.
Step5
Remember gifts for special occasions. Whether it's a birthday or Christmas or Teacher Appreciation day, remember to bring something in for them. It doesn't need to be expensive--after all, it's the thought that counts.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are not academically inclined, and have a hard time performing well in certain classes, all hope is not lost. Simply go in for extra help whenever possible and ask questions…lots of them. Teacher's take into consideration your level of effort and will likely give you a better grade just because you've been trying.
