So your big day is approaching and you would like to present either your future spouse or your wedding party with a stunning piece of jewelry as a wedding gift. If you're not sure what jewelry you should choose, or how exactly to go about presenting this gift, then keeping a few steps in mind will help you through the process.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Give your bride something that she'll be able to cherish now and later on. A charm bracelet that you can add pieces to as your relationship grows is a wonderful way to keep the spirit of your wedding day alive. Include one charm to start with, like a wedding bell or heart, and have it engraved with the date to commemorate the day.

  2. Step 2

Consider secretly purchasing one of the pieces your bride wore during the wedding if she has chosen to rent her jewelry for the occasion. These pieces are pricey, otherwise they wouldn't be rentals, but if it's within your budget, she'll definitely be blown away by your gift. Just contact the leasing jeweler and arrange for the retail price payment.

  3. Step 3

Give your groom something he can use every day like a fine watch. The average man checks his watch around 65 times each day, so that's 65 extra thoughts of you every day!

  4. Step 4

Purchase identical gifts, but in varying colors, for your bridesmaids. Tennis bracelets in each of their birthstones, or perhaps stones that match their dress colors, make perfect reminders of the day.

  5. Step 5

Choose timeless classics like pearls for just about every female at the wedding. Bridesmaids, flower girls and even mothers of the bride or groom would all look stunning in a classic string of pearls or simple pearl earrings.

  6. Step 6

Pick out stylish cuff links for groomsmen and fathers or the bride or groom. These are excellent choices for men with jobs that require them to dress well every day, or for those stylish fellows that like to go out dressed to the nines every once in a while.

  7. Step 7

Go for a pocket watch for classic style. Men of all types are developing a taste for these timepieces, so they are making a serious comeback. You can even have the case engraved with their initials, or inscribe a note of thanks with the date of the wedding inside.

  8. Step 8

Find a brooch with birthstones or colored stones matching your wedding colors for mothers and bridesmaids. These pieces are being revived as one of the hottest accessories on the modern woman.

  9. Step 9

Wrap up whatever jewelry you select in a beautiful box so you can give it to the recipient in style. Velvet boxes and satin ribbons are perfect for the girls while clean-lined wooden boxes are perfect for the boys.

Tips & Warnings
  • Avoid giving rings for a wedding gift since there are already such highly symbolic rings involved for the day.
  • Make sure you're giving each attendant or parent the same quality gift. If anything is perceived as better or lesser than what you gave someone else, there may be some resentment or hurt feelings involved.
