How to perform the french drop (coin vanish)

Looking to get into magic, but don't know where to start? Well, then here is your trick.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• quarter

1. 

   hold the quarter, left palm up between your thumb and 2 middle fingers.

2. 

   Take your other hand, and pretend to take it from your hand. Do this by moving your thumb under the quarter and concealing the top of the quarter with the top of your hand.

3. now drop the quarter into the palm of your left hand. As you do this follow through with the right hand and close it like you grabbed the coin.

4. hold the coin in your left hand and turn it over while pointing your index finger at the right hand (misdirection)

5. turn your closed right hand palm up and open it to reveal the coin has vanished.
