If you already think you would love to go skydiving, you are half way there. Set a goal and select when you want to go skydiving by. I thought I would have gone before I was 30. I ended up putting it off until I was 40. Don't wait do it this week end!
Step2
Search the internet and read about the process. Just knowing more may give you a boost to do it. Find companies in your area, call and ask lots of questions.
Step3
Gather a group of friends that are willing and able to go with you! Between your friends and the skydiving instructors you will find the whole experience very entertaining.
Step4
Remember your first jump is tandem. You'll have an experienced teacher and skydiver right on your back, keeping you safe. What more could you ask for?
Step5
Don't wait too long before you do it. You might talk yourself out of it. This is one of the biggest thrills, if you like thrill rides and speed you'll love skydiving. Plus the sooner you go, the sooner you can go again.
Step6
Watch a few videos on the subject. There is plenty of information on the internet.
Step7
Find someone you know that has gone skydiving and talk with them about their experience. Pretty soon you'll be very ready to go.
Tips & Warnings
Go with your friends. That is what I did and it made the whole thing so special. I wanted to back out for a minute and I just couldn't with my friends along for the fun. I'm so glad I did go, it was wonderful. If you want to go skydiving you will find it to be an amazing experience.

I went about 10 years ago for my birthday. It was something I had been dying to do. I have to say, I was a little disappointed. It didn't give me the rush I was expecting. A little boring actually, except for the initial wave you get when you look out the door of the plane from 13,000 ft up. Now I'm ready to try hang gliding.

Great info. I went skydiving with one of my friends and had the time of my life, it was fantastic. I was definitely petrified beforehand but I'm so thrilled I went through with it.

on 4/9/2008 This is something I have always wanted to do but have not done yet. Maybe one day soon, if I get my husband to go along with it.
